For more than five years CONEXION has managed Staples' B2B market expansion, which has included in-store business seminars and online promotions exclusively targeting Black and Hispanic small business owners within a 3-mile radius from every Staples store in Southern California and Miami. In Los Angeles, a Staples store is named after a prominent Latina CEO, thanks to CONEXION.
Online, CONEXION developed and grew Southwest Airlines' Rapid Rewards program in the Hispanic business traveler market by 78 percent in a period of only 18 months through a viral strategy that targeted Latinos with MBA and PhDs, exclusively.
Currently, CONEXION is developing and managing KPCC's audience expansion program. KPCC is part of Southern California Public Radio and a Los Angeles National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate with more than 750,000 listeners per week. They serve a highly-educated and affluent audience, and seek to attract Latinos in the same demographic. To amplify the impact of a series of 10 high-IQ events that include prominent speakers, we have deployed a social media strategy that incorporates blogs, infographics, pre- at- and post-event twitter campaigns, Facebook and QR code integration, and video blogs. In addition, we've developed a coalition of community partners for each event in the series. Visit our calendar for the next event, click here.
Before social media, Conexion successfully drove the launch of Ikea's Small Business Furniture Initiative. We hosted a VIP event focusing on Hispanic companies exceeding $5 million in annual sales and whose CEOs serve on the Board of Hispanic Chambers in the New York Tri-state area. With only 55 VIPs in attendance, their sphere of influence produced more than 1,500 voucher redemptions and significant community buzz.
