Growing up, Edgar dreamed of becoming an animator for Disney. A backpack trip to Machu Picchu, a few too many marathons and an MBA led him to develop a company in which business is used to fund sustainable projects at nonprofits that serve children in dire poverty. That company is called Conexion.

Edgar began his professional career at the LA Area Chamber of Commerce where he spent over 12 years and held numerous positions. After that tenure he made his mark in the Hispanic business world by heading the Latin Business Association (LBA) to national notoriety, and international presence.

Luis Ayala

Chief Wow Officer, a.k.a Event Producer

By age six, Luis knew he wanted to wow the world with events after staging his very own magic show. Since then, he has produced memorable experiences for such brands as NIKE on Hispanic Heritage Celebrations, and Target's "Dia De La Comunidad," in Houston, TX, among many others.

Before bringing his magic touch to Conexion, Luis served as marketing executive at Machete Music, a Universal Music label, where he supported burgeoning urban artists. Latina Magazine tapped Luis for executing high-profile mall tours and producing nightlife events for its clients.

Luis serves on the LatinoLA.com advisory board and as Marketing Director for Operation First Night, a homelessness advocacy and eradication nonprofit organization.

Sandra Arreola

Content Manager

A natural born costume designer, Sandra has won at least one Halloween title for creativity for the last 17 years - and some years she's taken multiple awards home.

Sandra first became acquainted with Conexion as a set designer during our Latina CEO events some years ago. She brings both creativity and years of project management experience to the chambers of commerce and business organizations we service, and provides a fresh perspective on social media engagement.
